Questions

Frequently asked

Is TruthTickTerminal free to use?

Yes. Sign up with email or Google, chart any Polymarket market, view live trades, and use the built-in indicators — all without a credit card. The optional Pro tier ($19.99/month) adds custom indicators and the strategy backtester, but you only enter payment details if you choose to upgrade.

Does TruthTickTerminal require a credit card to sign up?

No. The free tier requires only an email address or Google login. No credit card is asked for unless you choose to upgrade to the Pro tier.

Is TruthTickTerminal affiliated with Polymarket?

No. TruthTickTerminal is an independent charting and analytics terminal. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Polymarket — we read public market data to build candlestick charts, footprint order flow, indicators, and backtests on top of it.

What prediction markets does TruthTickTerminal support?

All Polymarket markets — binary YES/NO outcomes plus multi-outcome markets like sports and election candidates. The trade collector continuously ingests data across over 20,000 markets so historical charts are immediately available even on cold markets.

Can I backtest a trading strategy on Polymarket?

Yes. The strategy lab lets you write backtest logic in TypeScript and run it against the historical trade data of any Polymarket market. The 20,000-market scanner runs the same strategy across all 20,000+ markets in under three minutes, ranked by net P&L.

Can I automate Polymarket trading?

Not directly through the terminal (yet) — TruthTickTerminal is a research and backtesting tool. Trade execution still happens on Polymarket itself. Strategy logic can be written in TypeScript and tested against real trade history. Direct-execution integration is on the roadmap. Creating agentic connections is permitted.

How is this different from Polymarket's own interface?

Polymarket's native UI shows live order books but does not provide candlestick charts, technical indicators, or backtesting. TruthTickTerminal is built specifically to chart and analyze Polymarket markets the way a trader would chart a stock — with OHLC candles, tick candles, EMA / RSI / MACD / VWAP indicators, and a strategy lab.

What are tick candles and why use them for prediction markets?

A tick candle represents a fixed number of executed trades rather than a fixed time window. Prediction-market activity is bursty — quiet for hours, then explosive around news events. Tick candles compress the quiet periods and expand the busy ones, making the price action easier to read than a 1-minute or 1-hour chart. TruthTickTerminal supports 1T, 5T, 10T, 25T, 50T, and 100T tick candles.

Is TruthTickTerminal like TradingView for prediction markets?

That's the idea. TruthTickTerminal brings TradingView-style workflows — candlestick and tick charts, EMA / SMA / RSI / MACD / Bollinger / VWAP indicators, multi-timeframe analysis, orderflow, drawing tools, and strategy backtesting — to prediction markets, starting with Polymarket. It is an independent tool, not affiliated with Polymarket or TradingView.

Does TruthTickTerminal support Polymarket charts?

Yes. It reconstructs Polymarket trades into real OHLC candlestick and tick charts for any market — binary YES/NO and multi-outcome — with a live trade feed and a full indicator suite. Polymarket is supported first.

Can I backtest Polymarket strategies?

Yes. The strategy lab, part of the Pro workflow, lets you write backtest logic in TypeScript and run it against real historical Polymarket trade data across time and tick candles, with a scanner that ranks results across thousands of markets by net P&L. Backtests are research, not a profit guarantee.

Does TruthTickTerminal have orderflow or footprint charts?

Yes. Footprint-style orderflow is live: each price level shows buy versus sell volume, alongside a volume profile with a point-of-control line. It is built specifically for prediction-market trade flow (YES versus NO), so it reads differently from futures or crypto footprint charts.

Does TruthTickTerminal support Kalshi?

Not yet. Polymarket is supported first. Kalshi is on the roadmap — planned, not live. The charting, indicator, and backtesting workflows are being built to extend to Kalshi markets as coverage expands.

What makes TruthTickTerminal different from Polymarket's native charts?

Polymarket's native interface is built for placing trades and shows a live order book. TruthTickTerminal is the analytics layer on top: real candlestick and tick charts, technical indicators, orderflow and volume profile, historical context, and strategy backtesting. Use Polymarket to trade; use TruthTickTerminal to analyze.
